

It ended with a "two years later" epilogue that tied up the loose ends just a bit too nicely. The emotions felt a bit rushed at times, not moving naturally or gradually but quickly in order to fit into the story's length.

I rooted for the heroine and hurt with her in the climax. I found it enjoyable, though without much depth. Perhaps reading the other two first would have coloured the way I read the story, but as it was, I read it without having read the previous two in the series.
